A bright flash was necessary to capture all the amazing textures in this carving.

Somehow, this image felt sad to me. As an educator, we put our chairs away at the end of the activity or the day, this felt more like something joyful and bright was put away for good, behind the wire. Something that used to be joyful, stored away.

I love photographing glass. The light and color in glass is compelling and beautiful.
